| 1355947 | 2013-10-14 04:32:00 | So apparently track and trace reveals it had arrived in the country and yes it was delivered but it was "accidentally" signed for by the courier and guess what we dont have it :) Accidentally. Yeah. NZ Post saying not thier problem speak to seller, seller saying you got it deliverd speak to NZ Post. Back and forth this has gone so NZposts courier claimed it was deliverd to a supposedly locked mailbox. Ok so I have had enough of this and reported it to the Police who now going to investigate the theft! How can they tell you to speak to the seller if they have a record of it being delivered to you and signed by one of their people? Good on you for getting the police involved. Next stop get the credit card company to refund although have a feeling I know what they will say. Why? The seller shipped it? Seems unfair. |

| 1355949 | 2013-10-18 07:51:00 | Sorry not getting back on this for a while. Firstly the locked mailbox refered to is whats called a Community Mailbox same as a Post office box wheich apparently a few exist in the country (community mailboxes). We gave no authority to leave parcel requiring signature in said mailbox in fact the item was fully addressed to the physical address which only one the couriers I know personally has delivered direct to the house a rare quality someone commited to doing the job right. So the matters escalated to a complaint to the Police as it seems someone else in the area also reported a mssing parcel and once again courier signed it themselves. This stage unsure if same courier involved! Basically someone flucked up and its balme someone else meanwhile we got no parcel and yea the cost. Seems the insurance will pay if the sender puts in a claim however as rightly pointed out it has been deliverd just where the courier put it no one knows. Catch 22 situation end the day courier who in my mind fraudulantly signed for the package and this even confirmed by NZ Post is at fault and liable to replace/compensate. Fun eh! |

| 1355950 | 2013-10-24 21:18:00 | Well I just had one that will top this :) Talk about stupid. Was expecting a delivery was meant to be here Wednesday at the latest. Today ( Friday) still had not arrived, called the sender and they looked up the track and trace, said it was showing as waiting to be picked up. Someone was here everyday this week, and NO Courierpost had been here. Anyway went to the post shop, they asked for the card -- Sorry no card was left, only have the tracking number -- They looked it up and said its meant to be here. --Errrr Yeahhh That's why I'm here. Well they found it, and what was on the top of the packet ?? -- The card saying to collect -Idiots didn't even deliver a card. |

| 1355951 | 2013-10-27 02:25:00 | At least you got your package. NZ Post no longer engaged in communication instead they have said communicate via the Police who investigating. Now it gets messy as NZ Post have said the sender has not communicated with China Post to verify whats going on, until they do no compensation for loss. So another email back to the sender and again the response of the package has shown as being delivered. So pissing up against a wall as I have asked them to contact China Post lay a complaint so that NZ Post has the complaint from the sender and then China post can compensate the seller and me. Nope same reply the parcel has been delivered just repeating and repeating needless to say not using that supplier again. |

| 1355952 | 2013-10-27 06:30:00 | NZ Post seem to be trying to emulate Swiss Post. They have got to get a whole lot slower, and do a lot more package smashing before they can get into the Swiss POS league though. However, it appears they are getting incompetence and disinterest right up there. | R2x1 (4628) | ||
| 1355953 | 2013-11-02 07:06:00 | NZ Post seem to be trying to emulate Swiss Post. They have got to get a whole lot slower, and do a lot more package smashing before they can get into the Swiss POS league though. However, it appears they are getting incompetence and disinterest right up there. Just ordered another package on track and trace. So contacted NZ Post who told me that it was coming via courier post so they put me intouch with them to track it. Someone was going to call me back which they did! This is where I am now fired up. The answer from this CSR was that it would not require my signature as it was going into a locked CMB (community mail/PO Box). Hello thats what happened last time! So evven though its coming via Courier post it gets handed over to the Rural Delivery driver who the daft sods tipped off that it was on its way and now they have said the Rural Post driver has refused (they claim their right) to leave the package in the mail box or deliver it to the physical address they drive pass. I can expect a card to go into the town sorting office to collect the package! WTF thats why I paid extra for the courier service and pay extra for being rural! So now because of the incompetance and lie of the Rural Post driver we now have to go into town some 50kms trip to get our signature mail and packages. Meanwhile still trying to get my money back on the last undelivered package they lost. I only knew one driver of theres who went the extra mile to deliver a package this person who owns the local service is a lazy incompetant fool whose contract should be revoked. Whats best is the idiot CSR I spoke to defended their actions as if its my fault. |

We had a parcel to our daughter in Melbourne inexplicably delayed for some weeks, then finally delivered saturated with water (during a dry spell in Melbourne!). On pursuing the matter higher up the chain, we had our postage refunded in full and a written apology. Another parcel (to our son in Dubai) also went astray and and finally reappeared in NZ, and that was upgraded to full air-courier service and re-sent at no charge. In both instances we had no joy with the normal erks, but on taking it higher we got very satisfactory outcomes. Just ask to speak to the supervisor, then the supervisor's supervisor etc, then hit the management team if necessary. The higher you go, the more pissed they get with their subordinates, just keep it civilised, criticise the service not the people, if it is a human problem, criticise their training, not their actions etc. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

I dont intend this to rest the simple fact was that the last person to handle the recorded delivery package that started this was the Ruarl posty who signed for it as being delivered. The same posty who now is taking umbridge at being busted out and reported to the Police for losing this package. I have also learned another package sent to us from a family member has also gone astray. However no trace n Trace on this and I suspect a customs issue....BUT...given the track record of this posty who knows. Personally I would like to see a search warrent issued on them and see what else turns up. |
