That must NOT be good for the equipment (TV, MySky, Blu Ray, PS3) That's fair enough, you will be able to do that just fine. But as already discussed, a cheap UPS that goes bang definitely won't be good for the equipment either. |

They had a guarantee on them that if the UPS failed and damaged the equipment attached they would replace what ever it was up to I think it was around 20K at the time ( from memory) Well the Libert sh1t its self real nicely after close to 3 years due to errrrrrrrrr lets say a massive power spike ( wont say any more) I contacted them and told them the UPS failed, and blew up everything, the PC, monitor, printer and listed a few other items attached as well, they didn't even hesitate -- asked for a invoice to repair /replace what was lost, around $3500 (again from memory) and within a short time they deposited the money, Customer got a whole new set of gear. They wanted the Blown UPS back ( as you would expect) and I got a email that basically said it really did a good job of destroying it, and apologized for the trouble. Moral of that story -- the good ones they will back their devices. Cheap nasty ones its tough luck. Edited: And replaced the UPS as well. |
