| 1354716 | 2013-10-01 02:43:00 | ISP, Connection type? With Telstra/Vodafone - Cable. NZ sites are fast as usual, lots of overseas sites are not loading or slow as a wet week. Did look on Telstra's site and they did say they had some problems: Some customers in the Courtenay Place of Wellington may be experiencing a loss of internet and phone services. Our engineers are aware of this issue and are working to restore service as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience. No where near CP, and my son who's on the net most of the afternoon is saying certain overseas sites are slow as well. Had a couple of customers call me as well asking if theres problems so its not just me. Been trying to get adobe flash to load from their site, download wouldn't load, simply timed out, but managed to get it another way, by going to a place that requires flash, and it downloaded it from there in a few seconds. |

Thursday, After the first Manila guy hung up on me, the second went through the usual, which I had already done and then announced there was nothing wrong and they'd A)Bill me $140 for a new modem 2)Send a tech Friday it resolved without me doing anything or any techs arriving. This morning it has the go slows again. It's Telecom, not Telstra. |
