284178 2004-10-24 11:57:00 Not much point, all bad assed Matrix fans have all the movies plus the animatrix and the fanimatrix. Some, not all of the special features are already on the movie dvds and the matrix neo model is lame (unlike my highly detailed, fully articulated APU which a mate got me in from the states which guards my comp :-)
Too little too late unless you have been living off matrix divx rips.

284179 2004-10-24 14:36:00 The Matrix Trilogy. Something that should've been impossible to screw up with two sequels, but how they did it I do not know. alphazulusixeightniner (185)

284181 2004-10-24 19:59:00 I have to agree with alpha. I whatched the first one dozens of times and was a die hard fan, till the 2nd movie came out. I came out of the theater completely gutted went back a few days later and watched it again just in case it was just the mood I was in at the time, it still sucked.

I have since just blocked out the final two movies and pretend they dont exist.

284182 2004-10-25 19:35:00 Well guys, I must say "Baaaahhhhh!"

OK, yes, the first film was the best. But think about it: it was the best because it was ground-breaking with things like the fight scenes/cgi and the story itself (what the Matrix was all about). So the sequels are not going to have the surprise, the unique element.

Just try watching films 2 and 3 and appreciate the special effects, stunts, music, sound editing, etc. Terrific!
