2004-10-27 00:03:00 | Hi Anybody know if this does not run at full adsl speed now even when logging on with username as user@jetstreamgames.co.nz, because I can only get 256Kbps max which is the line speed of my plan. I can use it without incurring data use, just cant get full speed sits at 32KBps constantly I am on xtra jetstream not bitstream. Thanks

2004-10-27 01:18:00 | I logged onto the realm yesterday afternoon and got full speed ~700 KB/s. >logging on with username as user@jetstreamgames.co.nz Just to clarify this, the format is [your_current_username]@jetstreamgames.co.nz example: joebloggs@jetstreamgames.co.nz

2004-10-27 01:39:00 | Your username is just anything @jetstreamgames.co.nz. Your password can be left blank although some routers does not allow for this, in which case you can use anything. One guy at Xtra once told me to use abc123. Don't know if theres any difference though. Otherwise, ring Xtra and ask for compensation for no being able to fully use their service ;-) Metla> :^O Please Lord, the Great Metla, set me an easy exam paper for my upcoming exams.

2004-10-27 02:07:00 | Found this and it answers my question, apparently limting js games to you line plan speed is standard practise now. www.telecom.co.nz

2004-10-27 02:59:00 | It's because the way rate limiting is done has changed, they've moved the limiting close to the consumer end. www.aardvark.co.nz list.waikato.ac.nz
