2004-10-26 04:44:00 | Over the weekend I lost my account with PF1. That is to say when I opened PF1 my computer wasn't recognised and as I can't remember my password and I have changed email addresses I figured it was easier to become some1 (one) else. So here I am. However, since then I am still not always recognised and even when I log in I don't see any pink dots to tell me which messages have new posts since I last logged in. I liked it as it was before. Can anyone help? | theotherone (1421) | |
2004-10-26 04:45:00 | So while I was writing this message 2 pink dots have appeared. What is with that? | theotherone (1421) | |
2004-10-26 05:32:00 | Cookies :D If you don't accept cookies from this site or have just emptied out all your stored cookies, then the forum software cannot tell when you last visited and therefore what posts are "new" to you. Accept and keep your cookies if you wish to track which posts are new.

Your previous visits are still recorded under your old logon, which you can no longer access because you don't have the password. Keep a written record of your passwords. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

2004-10-26 10:14:00 | For maximising the pink dots, I would reccomend rum, and a short delay. Forced re-installs of Win XP are fairly effective, but more likely to cause a red haze by the 3rd or 4th application. | R2x1 (4628) | |
2004-10-26 14:07:00 | Does this mean we are to take the "pink dots" seriously? I have never made sense of them since joining PF1, as they fitted with no system I could fathom (in my system, that is) so I gave them up as non-important. If there's a magic formula/answer, I'd like to know also. Meanwhile, I'll just let them do their usual mystery thing ..
