284722 2004-10-26 02:04:00 Hi there ! I am tired of keyboard typing...because I am one finger man.
Any idea if there exist already practical tablet system with handwriting recognition ability, not just drawing?

Thanks for information.

284723 2004-10-26 02:49:00 I can't read my writing; what chance would a computer have?

However, the Graffito system of the Palm organisers works well. It trains you to form letters which it can reliably recognise.

But I can type a lot faster than that ... even with 2½ fingers.

284724 2004-10-26 03:50:00 If u dont like typing, why not use speech recognition??

Either buy something like Dragon (which btw v7 preferred edition), doesnt like SP2, or get office XP which has speech in it

284725 2004-10-26 16:38:00 Voice Recognition as a time saver. Rubbish. As a novelty, a toy OK.
Believe me you'll spend more time editing, correcting spelling, etc. than you could ever save. Anyway two finger typeing is the norm for executive types. Ten finger typeing is for their secretaries.
What I want is a computer that spells properly no matter what wrong key you hit.
