284714 2004-10-26 01:05:00 In Windows Explorer in Win 98 one is able to have the setting "View as a webpage" which, in Details view, gives thumbnail views of graphics files (.jpg, etc) and also .html files. This is really handy when searching for a certain saved webpage file without having to open them all to see if it is the one you want.

Has Win XP dropped this feature, or I have missed the setting somewhere? I would have thought that Thumbnail view would show a thumbnail of the .html file but it doesn't, it just gives the browser's icon. :-(

I have tried searching with Google but my search skills are pretty pathetic as I haven't been able to find anything so can anyone here help with this one please?

284717 2004-10-26 01:18:00 Oops, sorry! I missed the html bit.
I think Microsoft have dropped that feature, but maybe it will re-appear in Windows XP 2006.

Thanks for the help in solving that mystery .

PS: Johnboy, how on earth do you do it? Your Google skills are legendary, how the heck do you always manage to know exactly what keywords to use? :O
