284929 2004-10-27 20:19:00 Hi Terry,
Anyone would think that retired Guys don't eat anymore. :-)
Supermarket shopping is a pain in the ..... and having ones lifelong partner along to chat to at the same time at least makes it slightly bearable.
Not retired yet but the darn supermarket shopping is a joint effort as is our marriage.
Going bush with a slasher is a joint effort too :-)
Just my 2c worth.

284930 2004-10-27 20:59:00 Ashka, I'm old fashioned, (tongue in cheek), there is mens work, and there is womens work, a womans place is in the home, housekeeping, shopping and baking pies, like it says in this song from 1927:

284931 2004-10-27 22:03:00 If pressf1 wasn't around I would be suffering withdrawal symptons.:_|

The other forms are all so slow. :O

And Pressf1 has the genius/geniuses who thought of using black text on a white background. :D

284932 2004-10-27 22:26:00 If you were not on PF1 you would miss out on priceless entertainment like This (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz).

Where else can you go to read an intense debate over the morality of the word Bollocks?

For a deeper analysis, look Here (www.urbandictionary.com) for the good oil, or even Here (www.thefreedictionary.com) for a somewhat different view.

Some people take life far too seriously. :^O

Cheers

Brings back my memory when Crozier going up the roof when someone said Bollock . . .

If you search the word "Bollock" on Press F1 you'll see a big lists . . :D

284934 2004-10-28 07:06:00 What would I be doing, if F1 wasn't here? Panicing . Yep, I use PressF1 when I have to try and fix a puter, cos otherwise, I would be spending hours and hours trying to find an answer to a question that is most likely buried in microsoft . com that would take me a week to find .

Crap on tele? Don't know, never watch it .

284935 2004-10-28 07:17:00 If i wasnt here, i may be in chat, if not there, may be doing homework, or cleaning, and being nice to all those customers who walk in the door.

and then i may be having coffee, for the 10th time in the day???? :p

as i have not much of a life unless it walks in my door, the net opens up new possiblities for me, to reach friends and family, and pf1, chat and other fav sites.

and telly comes a poor second to the peach nowadays.:D

Quite right Billy. Far too seriously!

I wonder if the puritans amongst us will approve of my new word for the day: bastardise Something that is quite apt when repairing computers. Or am I talking bollox again?
