| 285085 | 2004-10-27 04:41:00 | The sound and video, have nothing to do with the BIOS update. Updating the BIOS wont fix either. You have to find out the brand/model of the motherboard, and then go to the manufacturer's site, to find the audio driver. If the videocard is built in the drivers should also be on the motherboard maker's site. Thats the reason why u have 16 colours. The videocard driver hasnt been installed. Open the case up and see if u can find a name like Gigabyte / Asus printed on the mobo, and a model.. |

Out of curriosity how do you intend to flash the BIOS if "onboard sound and vid not enabled", granted its possiable to do a blind flash of the BIOS, but for someone who cant figure out how to download the latest BIOS its probably not a good idea . First thing you need to do is find out what motherboard you have, the infomation youve provided is irrelevant . A quick google of the mainboard number you provided suggests the motherboard might be made by Aristo . |

| 285087 | 2004-10-27 20:37:00 | Welcome to PressF1 raqs_cb The drivers you require are the motherboard drivers , sound drivers and Video drivers. The secret is to find out what make & model your motherboard is. Unfortuneatly, the BIOS info doesn't help me, but may do others. Have a look on the motherboard, around the edges and between the white PCI slots for a type number. You could try Belarc Advisor (www.belarc.com) which may give you info on your motherboard. The main drivers will be VIA anyway, available from here (www.viaarena.com). That will leave the sound and video drivers. |
