| 285901 | 2004-10-29 05:16:00 | Hi Does anyone know of a Windows program where you can create your own keyboard (maybe combination) shortcuts to things. Example: F!! takes me to My Documents or Ctrl 1 M takes me to MSN messenger... Any ideas? Thanks. Kind Regards. |

Just create a shortcut to the desired item on the desktop, and set the 'hotkey' property of the shortcut to what you want. If you have an older version of windows, you're out of luck. The older versions are meant to do this, but they will only work if the desktop is the 'active window'. Windows XP will always work, no matter what you're doing. Hope this helps, Bletch |
