How complex would it be to add a search engine to my site?

285868 2004-10-29 01:13:00 This all depends on how you host your site and if your provider supports cgi bin, perl etc. I use Fluid Dynamics Search Engine from www.xav.com and find it very good and free. I used the free auto install and worked fine. I also installed the plugin to search PDF files. Berryb (654)
285869 2004-10-29 01:34:00 I just tried the Google one, only on my home page but that's not working.
I will Berrys Idea a bit later.

Sorry That I never got back to your e-mail, I have been Farley busy recently :(

You need to config the Google one on your home page ;) e.g. where it says "YOUR DOMAIN NAME" You need to add "www.ronsseacorner.co.nz" to there & then it will work, hopefully

Hope this helps :)

285871 2004-10-29 05:37:00 Sweet as
I think I have got it working now.
It would be better at the top of the page, but the Google thing is a bit large.
But at least it is working.
I might change a few things on my site, Instead of the enlarge pictures opening in a new window, I might have them opening within the existing page.
