285299 2004-10-28 21:45:00 yeah is 10c per 10KB sent or received via GRPS. if its not GRPS capable, WAP is charged for the time not data!! Just checked. non grps typing emails takes a bit of time on that tiny keypad!! :D

so yeah my guess is they would charge you $5 or so .. to use voda email. chances is they gonna say we are giving you 15mbm spam control and virus protection. they have this thing like "transferring your isp emails to voda", hey get everyone to transfer them and psychologically lock them to voda. ha! my isp pop is fine thanks.

i changed my # couple of months ago to prepay and have not bothered to setup mobile mail online. so i click it while logged to My Voda, I could only load a error page. ha!

285302 2004-10-28 22:13:00 $0.20 per text yingxuan (3330)
285303 2004-10-28 22:17:00 I hate accessing email thru vodafone live.Sometimes it comes up with an error message.Sometimes it says No gateway reply.Othertimes I finish typing my email messages click send and what happens. An error comes up saying Please try again later.
I use my email client on my mobile and it retrieves and send everytime.
i talked to vodafone about this but they said its to do with the reception

just wondering about those many emails your friends sent to you. and if the email gets a lot of replies and forwards back and forth you get a big big email to receive ;) or then wait for that powerpoint or jpg attachment :^O Oh. 20c for email alert, ahh.. no thanks.

285305 2004-10-28 23:08:00 My phone does not retrieve emails over 6kb.It automatically detects it and just downloads the header, headings and the email address. yingxuan (3330)
285306 2004-10-28 23:10:00 I get alot of emails from trademe and buyers.IF the message is over 6kb the phone will simply not retrieve it.All mobiles have this kind of function unless... like the new nokia mobile that can read powerpoint and word documents then it will retrieve yingxuan (3330)
285307 2004-10-28 23:12:00 I have 60 somethings up at trademe for sales.Imagine the amount of $$$ .This excludes emails that I receive from buyers yingxuan (3330)
285308 2004-10-28 23:15:00 When you reply back and forth you end up with an email quite large yes but if the email is over 6kb you can't retrieve it.!You will only see the heading of the message.Who the email is from.thats all! yingxuan (3330)
