| 285822 | 2004-10-29 02:55:00 | By 2 player do you mean split screen or LAN? Its been awhile since ive seen a split screen game . Cyber Dogz was a favourite of mine, im pretty sure it was freeware . Your a commando type person and you had to buy guns to go into a dungeon type place to fight other commando type enemies . Some of the original need for speed series supported split screen, not exactly freeware but should be pretty cheap to buy . Another favourite of mine was loderunner, also not freeware but so acient that it shouldnt cost more than a few dollars . You had to work your way through a maze while fighting/avoiding mad monks . Had a level editor that made for hours of fun, they latter released a fully 3D version but that was lame . |

| 285826 | 2004-10-29 03:05:00 | Wahhhoooo Duck Hunt, i remember spending hours playing that on SNES, the stupid dog really pissed me off. I think i spent more time trying to kill the dog than i did shooting the ducks. Only problem with free games is that they generally suck, B grade graphics and poor gameplay. There are a few exceptions for example Americas Army and Enemry Teritory, although Americas Army is debatable, if you enjoy sitting still for long periods of time its the game for you. |

| 285827 | 2004-10-29 03:10:00 | Hey Split screen yeah. LAN you can find games but split screen is so cool. GeneRally is an awesome example of non splitscreen head to head racing. A superb game. Just games like that. Adventure ones or action ones would be nice, however. Had a look at those 80's games. Ah memories.... |
