| 285269 | 2004-10-28 01:53:00 | Do they have a web site? I can't find one. What is their computer dept. normally like. Do they carry a full range of parts? They have a new mega-store about to open in Rotorua. Should I feel exited about that, or are they much the same as the Farmers? |

| 285270 | 2004-10-28 01:57:00 | I wouldnt get excited, unless you like paying over inflated prices and receiving advice from salesmen who cant tell one end of a mouse from the other. They generally hold stock of simple PC parts such as mice, keyboards, printers, ram, harddrives etc. You'd struggle to buy a CPU or motherboard and the range is limited often only the cheap and nasty brands. I hate to say this but DSE have a far better PC section, although harvey normans do have a big games section which is quite nice. |

Other peoples opinions are simply that - other peoples opinions. Also Harvey Normans stores are all franchises, the one in Wellington is very poor whereas the one in Porirua is OK. Porirua also seem to have more specials too. |
