286223	2004-10-30 04:17:00	I have just set up a new wireless router and am now wireless. Cool! Only one problem; the router is a 802.11g and is suposed to give access at 54Mbps, but it is only running at 11Mbps. Anyone got any clues? Cheers, Rob	theotherone (1421)

286227	2004-10-30 04:35:00	Just looked up the card and sure enough it is a 802.11b so I have wasted about $90 on getting the 54g router. Now that really p's me off. Can't blame anyone else though, unfortunately.	theotherone (1421)

286230	2004-10-30 22:09:00	No warranty concearns to worry about! A cardbus expansion card simply slips in this side - just an addon component - this would not affect your warranty in any way. The wifi card would just take over the networking job of your onboard wifi - you would have to disable this which is easy. I honestly wouldn't bother unless your streaming or sharing large files within your own local network - 11Mbs is fast enough for any internet connection in New Zealand!	HadO (796)
