| 285941 | 2004-10-29 06:22:00 | If you go athalon-64 you have to have agp 8x. Perfectly fine, we dont need PCI-e at all, only intel is pushing it. We have only just found the true limits of agp 4x ---- yes do ga athalon -64. if you can get a 3500+ on a socket 939 mobo | fus1_n (3818) | ||
| 285942 | 2004-10-29 06:54:00 | get the athlon cpu | Blue_face (1148) | ||
| 285943 | 2004-10-29 07:36:00 | If you want to wait another month or so there should be some nForce 4 boards out which are SLI PCIe capable. Sounds like the thing to be buying, or you can get the new Pentium chipset has DDR2 and PCIe if you wanted that. | Azsen (155) | ||
| 285944 | 2004-10-29 07:38:00 | i wouldnt bother with pci-e at the moment, it offers no real world increase with our current gear over agp8x, save yourself some money and go for a nf3-250 socket 939 a64 system | lagbort (5041) | ||
