| 286012 | 2004-10-29 09:00:00 | They're different standards/formats/methods of writing to the disk - devised by different companies like Sony/Pioneer/Philips etc. There is also another type: RAM - made by Panasonic, and not so compatible as the other two, however I believe its great for rewriting on the same disk over and over.
