285979 2004-10-29 07:00:00 I have a samsung cd writer with the speed of 52x32x52x. Im just thinking, whats the point of 32x re-writerable when the fastest cdrw you can get in here is only 10x Blue_face (1148)
285980 2004-10-29 07:08:00 Good point. BUT then not many wld use CDRW's to backup files to. Spacemannz (808)

Room for expansion?

Incidentally there are heaps of CD-RW's available faster than 10X.

285982 2004-10-29 08:15:00 If you run nero drive speed on the majority of drives it gives a true speed of about 16x,which shows how stupid the 52x burners are. metla (154)

285984 2004-10-29 09:25:00 As far as my sales go CD-Writers are still by far the most popular items.Probally 10-1. metla (154)
285985 2004-10-30 01:17:00 That's very interesting Metla.

My sales are just the opposite (that's for PC's not individual drives). Almost everybody seems to get a DVD writer, but not many people just get a CDRW drive anymore.

Must be a Wellington thing.
