| 285928 | 2004-10-29 05:48:00 | also How do you make your buttons on your site? eg what Program do you use? | stu120404 (268) | ||
| 285929 | 2004-10-29 06:02:00 | I don't use a program for buttons. You can get some pretty good button effects using image mapping (can take a while to load on a slow connection), but the main methods I use is CSS. You can use something like the following in your stylesheet: #button1 a{ border: 3px outset #CC0000; color: #FF0000; width: 80px; height: 20px; } #button1 a:hover{ border: 3px inset #CC000; color: #CC0000; } Then use this in the HTML code to use the button: <html> <head> <link rel="stylesheet" id="text/css" href="stylesheet.css" /> </head> <body> stuff goes here <div id="button1"><a href="ButtonTarget.html"> Click Me </div> </body> </html> For a sample of these bussons, go to http://pcfix.co.nr - I use them on this site. Hope this helps, Bletch |

| 285933 | 2004-10-29 06:35:00 | oops!! sorry about that I was thinking of another menu. Although this one is excellent I have another one with no javascript (uses DHTML) that looks exactly the same and is fully customisable & also adjusts automatically to users screen size & resolution I'll find it & post link, If I can't find the original I'll post my modified version. Sorry again, I should have checked before opening my trap |

| 285935 | 2004-11-03 05:18:00 | I'm going to sound like a nube, but I still can't quite get my head around these pull down menu or Jump menu. I managed to use the jump menu in dream weaver3 but I find them a bit impersonal. I like the way this one works on DPR. http://www.dpreview.com/ Cheers Ron |
