287438 2004-11-03 02:40:00 OK - Modeling Clay to EN71 ASTM D-4236 The stuff we used as kids 50 years ago and is still popular. I use it these days if I am repairing anything using Araldite. Araldite flows so I build moulds using ordinary plasticine. But getting rid of the plasticine afterwards is always messy. I generally end up using a knife etc. There must be some liquid etc that removes the stuff. Mothers particularly must have discovered how to save childrens clothes. Funny place to ask for help on this but I bet somebody out there can help me. Thomas01 (317)

287441 2004-11-03 03:11:00 Try Kerosene. It worked 50 years ago. Tom B. (864)
287442 2004-11-03 03:22:00 Plasticine is oil (and some are also turpentine) based.

WD40 is kerosine based, and may be more convenient to use.

287444 2004-11-03 04:35:00 Find a solvent and also use heat.

Heat + solvent + toothbrush = clean moulding.

Clean toothbrush carefully before reuse.:D
