287059 2004-11-02 07:19:00 I have a sky media pci card (iHug ultra) that does not like sharing an IRQ. I have tried shifting the card to a different slot but Windows insists on making it share an IRQ. I am unable to change the allocation in device manager as the setting is greyed out, and I can't move the shared ones as they are also greyed out.
I have looked at my BIOS and set IRQ allocation on to manual but I don't seem to have the ability to force a PCI slot to be allocated a particular IRQ (it appears IRQ 7 is unallocated).
Is there some other way I ask myself - and others in the forum with knowledgable resources I revere. Alister

I can only suggest that to ensure the mainboard drivers are the latest and depending on which operating system you have, ensure U have all the service packs.
