| 287334 | 2004-11-03 04:32:00 | I seem to have lost the use of my 7-in-1 card reader. The hardware no longer responds and the drive letters have gone from my system. I suspect it may have happened when I installed some Kodak software and plugged in a usb cable to transfer some photos. I can't be sure but I no longer have use of my drives. I am not sure how to go about getting them back, short of unplugging the device and then reinstalling it. Anyone got any ideas? Ron Keilty |

| 287336 | 2004-11-03 06:08:00 | Hi, Thanks for you reply. It is an internal usb 2.0 drive. My other USB devices are scanner, printer and mouse. These all worked happily together up to now. Hope this helps. Ron |

| 287337 | 2004-11-03 06:12:00 | This sounds like mine. I use an apacer 7-1 USB 2 internal card reader. The only thing I can think of is, one of the connections on the inside going to a header on the mobo, may have come off?? I would check the connections on the mobo, just to be sure. And u did install the drivers/and icons from the CD, if this is the reader u have didnt u?? |

| 287339 | 2004-11-03 07:06:00 | Thanks again. The reader came already installed and has been working. I think I will just get inside and check the plugs, unplug and reinstall if necessary. Cheers Ron |
