| 286966 | 2004-11-02 01:37:00 | Hi Can someone please explain to me how to use the JS Games realm. When tryng to connect to servers i am kicked because of punkbuster problems, happens on sof 2, battlefield, americas army, in fact battlefield and aa just crash when trying to show servers on the realm. The games work fine out of the realm. Anybody got any ideas? |

| 286969 | 2004-11-02 04:57:00 | Pleasehelp, Try the AAO forum at Jetstreamgames. Sabbath and some of the regular AAO folks will be able to help ya. Just note that AAO is on a new version 2.2 and I think the XTRA AAO server is still on 2.1 until 2.2 for linux is release. I have read about Punkbuster problem on JSG realm but can't remember how they fixed it. Might pay to check through old thread there. Refer www.jetstreamgames.co.nz For Battlefield etc, try the BF forum at GPStore. Sidbo and a lot of BF Gamers who play via JSG realm are more likely to read your post there. | 286970 | 2004-11-02 05:51:00 | The problem with Punkbuster is that it cannot find the evenbalance . com IP to authenicate you . There is a way of entering the evenbalance ip in your host file . Look on the GP forum for a post by Ba'alzaman with 'Punkbuster' in it . Due to the realm not seeing any IP's that are not part of the JSG setup in BF1942 the in game browser will freeze . The way around this is to connect with something like the All Seeing Eye first while conected normally . Refresh all servers there, then leaving that open, reboot you router onto the realm . Join a BF game from All Seeing eye . When you want to quit out, DON'T press esc, as it will hang again (looking for games) . Bring down the console (~) and type quit then press enter . Isn't this is all rather redundant now anyway as the realm is capped to your normal line speed anyway? J :D |
