287987 2004-11-04 08:08:00 I am wanting to permanently delete a file from the start-up option, when using the system configuration. I have unchecked the box, and this works fine. Is there anyway though to get rid of the entry? I have several files that I no longer want to use at the start-up. I am using win98se.

287988 2004-11-04 08:09:00 You'll have to go to start/run type regedit and search for the exe file/s that are under syedit. Then reboot then it/they should disappear. Spacemannz (808)

In advanced mode you can delete unwanted startup procedures
Or download & run Startup an excellent wee tool
