287717 2004-11-04 01:38:00 Is it me or is there something going wrong with Hotmail?
I have 3 computers at home including a laptop. Lately, nearly everytime since a few days ago, hotmail causes internet explorer to stop working.
It's happening on all 3 computers. Is hotmail.com having problems?
Its kinda weird how its happening on all 3 PC's. Maybe they got a bug buzzing around at the moment?

Just tried it thru OE 6, and worked fine as well. I think u have a prob somewhere.

287720 2004-11-04 06:19:00 I use xtra dial up. I'm going to try Netscape and see if that works. Maybe IE has gone bung? But kinda strange how it happens on all my PC's.
I can access all other websites without probs.

You might what to check all your computers for virus & run Ad-aware/ SpyBot Search and Destroy to see if there are any Spyware, adware etc..

287722 2004-11-04 21:10:00 Glad to see some else is having the same problem

I have been unable to access my hotmail account since yesterday either
Also my outlook express is unable to access my hotmail account folders

I use Xtra Jetstream & also tried my account from other sites - still jams

I created a new account at hotmail and was able to access ok, however my original account is still not accessible.

I set up outlook express to access my new account & - no access.

I suspect it is a problem with hotmail, challenge is how do you report it when you can't login.

287724 2004-11-04 22:20:00 Well at least someone agrees.
I just made a new hotmail account and it works like normal.
But as soon as I use old account, it goes funny.

287725 2004-11-04 23:24:00 They seem to have fixed the problem

My old account is now working ok & I am able to access via web & outlook express

It looks like they rolled out a change which successfully knocked out part of thier users

I note that they now require a subscription to access hotmail accounts via outlook express, my old account is not affected

Message when I try to connect with outlook express to hotmail

Access to Hotmail via Outlook and Outlook Express now requires a subscription. Please sign up at http://upgrade.msn.com
