289097 2004-11-07 21:32:00 My daughter is being driven mad by an Excel spreadsheet where the originator has somehow hidden the column and row labels. She wants to get them back. Does anybody have any clues please?

Platform is Excel 2002.

289098 2004-11-07 22:22:00 Here we go:

Tools (menu)- Options - View (tab) then select the check box next to "Row & Column Headers"

Hope this helps :-)

289099 2004-11-07 22:31:00 Select the column tabs either side of the hidden one eg C & E if D is hidden, right click & select unhide
Same with the rows
To select both columns either use ctrl & click both tabs or click one tab & drag mouse

Great stuff. Sanity has returned.

My bad
