| 288794 | 2004-11-07 00:19:00 | Hi guys i want to transfer a song from my tape to my computer, is that a way do it??? will those Red-White plug from the hi-fi and use those line-in on the computer to get it work??? and do i really need a software to transfer that too??? thanks Jacky |

| 288795 | 2004-11-07 01:05:00 | You could try sound recorder which is part of windows xp (i think theres something similar in other windows versions). It may or may not be good enough. The only thing is how are you going to send it from tape to the pc?? Has it got a line out?? |

| 288796 | 2004-11-07 01:14:00 | Your sound card will need line in, and you will need an RCA to 3.5mm mini stero plug adapter. I found that Nero wave editor, that came with my CD burner, is simple to use and works fine because it can save as MP3. What you need to do though before you start recording with your choice of program is to doubble click the speaker icon in the system tray. click options - properties... select recording. then select line in or mic. (if thats what you plugged your tape player into. its easy...... really |
