288770 2004-11-07 01:12:00 In your article (PC World Nov 2004 p 26) about AGP graphics cards you mention that all the ones evaluated have three outputs, usually VGA, DVI and TV.
Explanations of these cards usually do not mention whether you can use all three outputs simultaneously or whether only two can be used at any one time. The latter is the case with the ASUS card I am currently using.
I wish to find a card that will allow simultaneous use of all three as I use a computer in an auditorium where one monitor is a control monitor, another output drives a projector and the TV output is used for TV monitors outside the auditorium. (It is necessary to ensure that the TV output can be set to the desired VGA or DVI output). Can you hep ?

You didn't say what you need help with.

If it is an NVidia card, and you have the drivers installed (which i'm guessing you do), you can use the nView software that comes with the card to setup multiple displays (standard or clone).
This can be accessed via: Control Panel then click on display. then click advanced..... and select the nView tab.

Yes, I am almost certain you can use all three outputs simultaneously (someone will correct me if I am wrong). Unless you have a crap card maybe.

Btw: What is the model of ASUS card?

288775 2004-11-07 01:41:00 Except he said, that you can only use 2 at the same time. Why, I do not know, unless it is the card he is using. Might be some software setting.

288776 2004-11-07 01:52:00 You can get a box that will spead the display over mutiple displays,They are cheap, work well and any good computer store will be able to source them... metla (154)
