2004-11-09 23:04:00 | firefox looks almost identical to ie, but with far less bugs and a far better feature set, ie has been a bane on the net community for far to long | lagbort (5041) | |

2004-11-10 07:00:00 | dayum.... how can you keep using IE6?.. 95% of all the viruses on the net are designed to ruin windows via IE... IE's middle name should be "holes and security flaws galore".. and seeing as how youve had recent browser and surfing problems.... well... hmmm.. over a year and no troubles since i kicked IE6 to the kerb where it belongs Rock On FireFox :-)

2004-11-10 07:23:00 | bro I am informed. I know all the others have less bugs but at the end of the day theres a reason I have a firewall & virus scanner. In the end, as long as my computer still works, I'm still gonna use IE. I don't really care about bugs THAT much to start using mozilla opera etc. The interfaces are crap for the most part and don't load as fast ~ in comparison to ie.

Never had a virus, worm, home page hijacker, etc. But then I keep my software up to date, use a firewall and ensure I have up to date virus checking. That gives me no browser problems or incompatibilities. Each to his own. Don't put someone down because you don't agree with the software they are using and don't try to convert them because 99% of the time they will ignore you anyway. |

2004-11-10 07:59:00 | not a problem mr Kibito :-) i dont agree with the statement re the crap interface, id call it more simple and user friendly :-) but as you said, as long as you have a virus scanner and a firewall and your computer works at the end of the day then for sure go with what you know and prefer :-) Cheers Term X
