| 289864 | 2004-11-10 01:42:00 | It has 720p widescreen support. I assume the Xboxes they sell in the US and other markets where there is HDTV penetration have this feature. It certainly looked great. Only saw it demoed so can't comment on the gameplay, but it looked like a solid concept - more PC in design than console, which is why I was surprised there was no PC version. | Biggles (121) | ||

| 289866 | 2004-11-10 01:48:00 | I got an X-box last Xmas and I bought about 6 games. I think they are RUBBISH. Not because of the content of the games but because I can't get past the first level on any of them. And my Atari gave up a while ago so I can't play SONIC anymore. My Play station 2 is buggered. The lid wont lock down so I play it with a heavy book sitting on the lid. I like SPYRO the draggon. I'm toying with the idea of buying DOOM 3 but I'm inclined to think it may be beyond me. Are there any Cheat Codes for it? I 'm an expert at the original Doom. I just fly through it . (With immortality and unlimited weapons) I have been playing with Flight Simulator , but I reckon it's another rip off. The scenery is absolutely nothing like it's supposed to be. And why should I have to pay for plugins to improve the scenery? SIM City 2000 is about the only game I play that I don't complain about. Jack |

Anyhow,if you mod an xbox you can run emulators,I have a pack of what i believe is nearly every sega megadrive game ever made,And all will run on a xbox set up for it. I just never got around to loading them on before i sold it. |

You can purchase an Xbox hi definition pack that will allow you to run your PAL (NZ) Xbox into a TV that supports HDTV however this is not true HTDV, you will notice a performance gain over standard AV packs & even over the advance AV pack – but please note this is not being promoted as HDTV support." |
