I think it was VW that was the main target, with dummy front offices all over the world, just to hide all their profits. Isn't there something in the pipeline to re-cover all the monies hidden in Swiss Bank accounts ? and gleen some back taxes !! rofl. Lurking. |

These people seem to be impervious to any authority, they pay the governments so as to keep up this tyranny of the mass's. Horrible thing being, this is common knowledge and nothing is done. |

Winston tried to bring these matters to light in New Zealand in 1994 with his famous winebox of documents, and how reviled he was for trying to shed light on these scams. "The genesis for the inquiry was repeated claims by Winston Peters of criminality associated with tax planning undertaken by some of New Zealand’s largest companies (some involving tax deals with the Cook Islands) as well as fraud and incompetence by both the Inland Revenue Department and the Serious Fraud Office. Public pressure eventually forced the government to set up the Inquiry." en.wikipedia.org Edit: I get the impression the right wing veil is falling from your eyes Cic? :) |

We are talking trillions here, sort out the gangster-ism and most of the worlds finance probs would be sorted. I still believe that we should work for our living and not expect it to be handed on plate, as some do. |

It is no surprise to me, indeed it seems you are much more surprised at having just discovered what has been going on for the last 60 years or so. Remember when super tax was 19/6d in the pound and that iniquitous tax was justifiably avoided by British film stars and other big earners going to tax havens like Jersey (Channel Islands)? First it was the tax havens of the Swiss banks then Jersey then Bermuda, Cayman Islands, and so on and so on. Now there are also money laundering havens. .......and then there are the shipping flags of convenience scams.......the list goes on......where oh where have you been all these years Cic ?? |

(Hopefully available late 2015 from a Lucas dealer near you.) Naturally, this has meant a bit of a delay in the news flow, but once he gets a new gas mantle in the beast, he may well find out what happened to the Light Brigade. | R2x1 (4628) | ||

I think we are talking the trillions of $ avoided in overseas scams. And that is the point, the corporations do not exist without the unwashed masses |
