2013-10-22 05:20:00 | These people are a pain in the butt, clean your screen with dirty water and damage your wipers. In my case they wouldn't get paid because I never carry cash. Why should the traffic dept become involved? If they haven't got a hawkers license they are illegal so why not just arrest them? | mzee (3324) | |

2013-10-22 05:40:00 | I'd stop and ask to do the rest of the car :D, then drive off ;) -- Only normally carry parking meter coins anyway. | wainuitech (129) | |
2013-10-22 05:45:00 | Last time I was at an intersection with them I turned on my windscreen washer and left it on until the lights turned green :devil | pcuser42 (130) | |
2013-10-22 05:47:00 | If they try and wash my visor there will be problems. | plod (107) | |
2013-10-22 05:47:00 | They never bugged me when I lived in Ak, but I wouldn't pay them again after learning how much they make - I used to pay only out of sympathy. | Greg (193) | |
2013-10-22 07:37:00 | In some areas it is illegal to wash windows at intersections. I always wave them off, and if they are silly enough to ignore that, then I am certainly not paying for something I didn't request. | Jen (38) | |
2013-10-22 07:50:00 | Campbell live had a bit about them tonight. One of the cleaners was boasting it was easy to make in excess of $100 per hour, tax free, which would be spent on cannabis and partying. His other sound logic was that it was best he was doing this, otherwise he would be back at home stealing. These guys are just waiting to get run over by a logging truck... and then the law makers will come down solidly on this practice... it's just a matter of time til one of them steps back into the path of something big.

2013-10-22 08:47:00 | This has got to be a dangerous practice. I prefer to clean my own windscreen or use the car's windscreen washer. | Bobh (5192) | |
2013-10-22 18:07:00 | Wow, you lot.... Sometimes I have let them, mostly not...mainly cause I didn't need it and didn't have change anyway. They pay attention, if you wave them away, they go. No they don't all have dirty water...they have a supply you know...it's better than the manky stuff at the petrol station that never seems to get changed. Perhaps they should all be lining up at WINZ instead?
