Good that its fixed (partly anyway) Seems its similar to what I had experienced in post #4. This is only a suggestion --:2cents: But if its upgrading to 8.1 that causing the problems, you may want to "have a go" at HP --- Its happening to often with Eveny Laptops - re installing back to 8 fixes the problem, BUT they should be able to upgrade to 8.1, even on HP's site (its own inbuilt updater) the say you must install the new drivers before upgrading to 8.1 BUT it doesn't work. Depends if you want to spend some time trying to get HP to sort it out. :2cents: |
