1373488 2014-04-26 04:49:00 I keep getting update messages from Nvidia that there is an update for my card.

Trouble is that when I try to get the update, I get the message to try again later.

This has been going on for several weeks now. I did go to Nvidia.com but the
result was in a language I do not know, so if the update was there I could not
find it !

It's odd, but any help with this ?

1373491 2014-04-26 06:38:00 I just installed the driver and nothing else. That way it wont install the part that tells you there's an update Speedy Gonzales (78)

Hold on Speedy, if you are not told that there is an update - how will you know if there is one :-)

1373495 2014-04-26 20:42:00 I rarely update drivers unless they stop working gary67 (56)
1373496 2014-04-26 21:23:00 Exactly if I want the update I'll go to the site and look then download it manually. I dont need the 3d drivers the install file has, or the Geforce experience whatever it's called (this is the option that installs the update stuff) Speedy Gonzales (78)
1373497 2014-04-27 04:35:00 For an older card like that you are not likely to benfit much from newer drivers as they will not be targeting any fixes for that hardware any more. In fact if anything you might find more recent drivers actually have worse performance or introduce new issues.

Generally I only bother updating the drivers on newer cards when I am running new games and they release specific fixes or performance improvements etc.
