| 1358352 | 2013-10-31 03:30:00 | I am getting a bit sick of pollsters saying the Labour Greens coalition could form a government as a result of the latest polls. Surely if there was an election tomorrow National as the largest party votes would get first chance to form a government. Not a Labour Green coalition. They are 2 separate parties! Am I right or wrong? From a technical point of view (never mind your party politics) |

| 1358354 | 2013-10-31 04:00:00 | As a Nat supporter, I wish they would ditch John Banks - he is coming across as a lying idiot - cant remember this or that. If National were the biggest party they could try to form a government with the Mana Party if they get seats, or NZ Winston First. |

| 1358355 | 2013-10-31 04:18:00 | Lets all vote for Winston. A National NZ First coalition can't be any worse thant the possibility of a Labour Greens coalition. Imagine the man with the built in sneer asking "Gimme back my Flagman" what to do. At least Peters has a sense of humour. :-) Ken |

They are "what if" polls and the possibility of Labour and the Greens attracting enough votes for an unlikely coaltion like that is just that - speculation. It means nothing at all. Don't bother taking any notice of those polls. The only thing those polls are good for is keeping someone in a job dreaming up unrealistic polls. |

| 1358358 | 2013-10-31 04:46:00 | I was hoping to just get comments on the technical side of things. Not who we want to win. I still say National as the biggest party (on present polling ) gets first chance. So the news media should stop taking about a Labour-Greens victory as they are not a formal coalition. |

Most news agencies in NZ are left-leaning, so they love to push their interpretation of what are effectively made-up numbers on an unsuspecting public because it suits their agenda |
