1357848 2013-10-24 21:10:00 An interesting one.
I open blank page , bring stuff up, then go to tools and internet options , select current page as usual, then ok, close and reopen I/E only to find it has removed my choice(stuff).
I have removed all new downloads, run CC and Spy Bot, which by the way removed spy ware and malware.

Just to be clear I want Stuff as my home page.

Try running hitmanpro (www.surfright.nl) & junkware-removal-tool/ (www.bleepingcomputer.com)

Note: your antivirus may pop up saying an ad on the download site is infected, ignore it the program is perfectly safe

Which piece of software are you referring to ? If its the Junkware Removal, once downloaded you simply double click it to run, press enter ( see the site theres pictures) and it runs. you only click the X if you want to close it for some reason before its done.

Hitman pro -- you download it, again double click to run - click next a couple of times and it runs.

"IF" these wont download then theres a good chance what ever is infecting the Machine will be stopping them for doing so.

There is more and more stuff getting bundled with software like the beginning of the week downloaded Super Antispyware and ended up with Chrome (browser)
