1356516 2013-10-19 02:29:00 When I heard you were bringing back a start button of some sort I wasn't too bothered. But please, what is the point of a button that just goes back to the stupid tiles? Are you incapable of listening to customers?

From a defender of windows 8, up to now.

1356517 2013-10-19 02:33:00 Visual cue more than anything. But I would like an option to get rid of it... pcuser42 (130)
1356518 2013-10-19 02:35:00 Why would you expect them to listen?

The old style menu feels so cumbersome and cluttered now compared to W8. The "new" start Menu button, right click it and low and behold a whole lot of options. Mind you some people don't know they have a right click option on their mouse or what it does - Its a amazing how many people when I right click and the menus appear they go :horrified Thats new when was that added to windows ?? -- ;)

Personally I think MS are quite clever, they did what peopel wanted-- put back the start button. As one person says in another forum:
I very believe that they wanted not the button it self, but the whole menu behind it. Ironically, MS taken this thing literally: "You wanna button? Here is your button! :D

Nope. Macs always had a right click. Just the mouse that came with them didn't. New ones are all gesture based
