| 290576 | 2004-11-11 08:15:00 | Hey guys, I'm having a problem I think with my new Brother MFC210C multifunction printer. When I boot into Windows XP Home I get the following error message (sal.neoburn.net) I've uninstalled the associated software and drivers but the error message still comes up, I also get a Windows "failed to write to memory error" as well. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem may be? cheers chiefnz |

It was a birthday gift and I was quite stoked to see that it came with a 3-in-1 card reader at the front. It's not noisy and prints relatively fast. Quality wise I think it is quite good, depending of course on what you're printing, I haven't printed any photos just yet so my opinion on that side of things is limited. Apart from that it's a good all round print centre. Thanks for the link cheers chiefnz |

I haven't had any issues with paper handling, I think it is capable of handling 80 sheets in the tray, I think this is more than adequate. cheers chiefnz |

| 290583 | 2004-11-11 23:50:00 | Thanks for that, chiefnz I've been thinking of the MFC210C for the missus to replace her old thermal fax and old printer (before the ink runs out!) One hassle could be feeding faxes one page at a time (no sheet feeder) I've had a Brother MFC3420C for nearly a year, mainly for faxing and scanning and it's been a good performer, apart from poor print text quality (use my HP2600 for that). Another annoyance is the automatic cartridge cleaning which drains all the cartridges even if you never use the colour ones. And I see it does not use the same cartridges as the 210.... cheers |
