For your other problems that you didnt ask for advice on. Join a Outdoor Bowling Club, if not as a player then as a Social Member, you will be welcomed to rub shoulders with all kinds of prospective employers from all walks of life. They will judge you on your merits as you display them. If you choose to take up the game you will be even more rewarded. Just be prepared to serve an initiation period to let people suss out your potential. As for the GF, no help here, but first things first.
