Everyone who walks in my shop has a budget and intended use, they are rewarded for there effort with good advice, rather then a salesman selling somthing they have next to no knowledge of to a customer who has even less. Quite redicules for you to tell me how these things work old chap,And thats before we get to the part you suggest throwing it all out the window and concentrating on marketing. You suugest if i was more advanced i would invest hunderds of thousands in a big flash building in the middle of town, stocked with computers whose main feature was the advertising and sold by students and full time salesman? For what reason? To spread even more substanderd computers onto the saturated market where the comps main feature is its marketing?,To risk losing everything to try and take on the multi-million dollar chainstores? This sounds like a good plan to you? And you think to give out advice? |

I'm sure you will do your best to put whatever spin you can on what i have told you,I don't expect it to penetrate. |

Do you know I've put up with your insults - admittedly I've thrown a few back out of frustration, but I've put up with them none the less. I've apologised, I've tried being nice. But each time you come back with crap like that! Now you'll finally get the reaction you've been pushing for! Enough is enough! Sure, you know what you're talking about regarding hardware. But in all else you're a complete and utter idiot. You'd argue that red is blue just because you don't understand that there may be a different point of view. You refuse to accept that anyone else is entitled to think differently than you. Well, have I got news for you! The jibe about the evolutionary ladder? It wasn't a jibe, it's how I view you! You're an ignorant, egotistical prat whi has the debating and social skills of a lower level group of ape! How long have you been walking upright? An argumaent isn't about regurgetating the same crap until the opposition caves in. Nor is it about throwing insults when you can't think of another way to force your point of view on somebody. It's about finding different ways to explain your point of view in a rational manner and trying to understand the other persons. Pull your head in Dopey! |

Thank you,at least your not putting foward views on computers or business pactices. Although i may ring one of those business mentor programs and tell them i read on the internet that i should go head to head with Harvey Normans,Im sure they will get a kick out of it. |

| 290549 | 2004-11-13 07:46:00 | :^O There's no point in arguing Potus you don't have a case, never will. Go join Dell's marketting department - or maybe you're already on it. Supermarket PC stores represent bad value, bad service, bad advice, bad tech support and bad quality parts. The fact of the matter is we have advised the original poster not to go with a supermaket PC and offered him with the best alternatives. Stop slinging your inferior advise around, we don't want to hear it. You can try preaching here (www.supamarket-pcs-r-us.intel-fanboys.com) though. |

A business mentor programme wouldn't work for you simply because you're unable to take any other view onboard that you didn't originate. You haven't the business acumen to go head to head with Harvey Normans and if you really think that's what I was saying you're delusional. You've found your level and I'm sure you'll have no trouble staying there. |
