| 290400 | 2004-11-11 04:21:00 | It's "Column Address Strobe" ... one of the critical timing signals which control the transfer of information in and out of memory. The fact that the BIOS is giving you a message indicates that the saved setting in the BIOS differs from the suggested one. You can probably find it in the "Advanced" section of the BIOS setup. |

| 290405 | 2004-11-11 04:45:00 | Since it's a "latency", it's actually a delay. 2 will make the memory run faster than 3. 3 will give more time for things to happen, but the memory is supposed to be that fast. :D |

But the amount it bet it by wouldn't make much difference. Is there any other tests i can do? |

| 290408 | 2004-11-11 05:25:00 | The 2 and 3 are small pieces of time ;-). The difference might even be 1 nanosecond. That's the time it takes for light to travel 1 foot. I suspect your memory is running at 133 MHz. The BIOS would give you a message at boot time if it wasn't :D |
