| 290057 | 2004-11-10 07:41:00 | Hey can someone please tell me how to sign into msn messenger using a gmail account, i've tried it and it comes up with a message saying its not a .net passport i know that duh lol but i've seen freinds log into msn messenger with other kinds of email addys like @pcconnect.co.nz etc but they dont know how they did it so can someone please explain?? | Codex (3761) | ||
| 290058 | 2004-11-10 07:43:00 | Hi Codex You will need to register your gmail account with the .NET passport system. Go to http://passport.net and sign up to it there. Then it should log in. Note that you will have to receive an email from .NET and follow some instructions to "activate" it. It is a free service. |

| 290059 | 2004-11-10 07:46:00 | easy, go to passport.com, sign in with your gmail email there and use a password and there should be a button called verify you account or i think this is how i did it, sign in to msn using you gmail address and use the password *cough* volume *cough* (i dont know why it is like this but this is how i done it) and when you sign in you will see on the top that you need to verify your account click on it and your browser should open and follow the on screen instructions, make sure you change you password! |

(it didn't work for me). only works if your signin in with gmail in msn messenger for the first time, dont ask me why cos i have no idea, it might not work anymore, but it did 2 or so months ago when i dont it with mine |
