291253 2004-11-13 03:28:00 Is it possible to change the default path in the Windows XP command prompt so that any time I go Start > Run > CMD the command prompt will open at a set place (rather than "c:\documents and settings\username\")?

I would prefer that the command prompt opened at something like "c:\" or "e:\".

At work (on Windows 2000) the command prompt opens to "u:\" - I want to be able to do something similar on Windows XP Pro (my home machine).

Mike.

Thanks GF

Mike.
