| 291629 | 2004-11-15 07:36:00 | I have 10GB / month. I use about 4.5GB usually, so if I find it phenominally popular and using 5.5GB of conversation (thats: 5,500MB 5,500,000KB 5,500,000,000 bytes Which is (assuming 7 letter words (very generous), 785,714,286 words Assuming 10 words per line, we get: 78,571,429 lines of conversation per month This is: 2,619,047 lines of conversation per day 109,127 lines per hour 1,819 lines per minute 30 lines of conversation per second. I will be proud if I can get that much going! Got the server running. Time to play with it... For when I stick it on the actual server: IP Address: 222.152.55.106 (static) OR Name: irc.jginet.net OR Name: www.jgih.com In fact, any domain related to or hosted by me probably points to that IP address. Cheers |

| 291633 | 2004-11-15 08:12:00 | Trillian (www.download.com) seems OK I'm using it to test my server. Nobody on it so far (unless it's broken). George |

| 291638 | 2004-11-15 08:32:00 | I did try, but I believe my infernal router is at work, as per usual, to block all incoming data, regardless of whether it was initiated locally or not. :( |
