| 291624 | 2004-11-15 07:02:00 | Well... Im going to be setting up a server for other purposes shortly regardless, so...... Ive already compiled the software and am connected myself in my LAN, but apparently outside connections dont work. Bloody config files...... dancer-ircd (www.dimension.net.nz) is the config file. If anybody can make heads or tails of it, that'd be much appreciated. Im recompiling the software with documentation now..... But as Im off to sleep shortly that wont get done until tomorrow. Its there though.... Just needs configuration. That and the server is secure, compiled with certain CFLAGS to minimize buffer Over-runs... increasing security on an already secure server..... The only thing more secure would be if I had used SELinux, but that will be for the next server build ;-) |
