That'd be kinda fun, I reackon :^O it'd soon take the wind out of it, don't you think. Example A: P..... - "M..... your nothing but an immature, nasty, overblown, s*&^%......" M..... - "P...... Go back to play school P.... and fail the rest of your exams dumb%*$$......" Example A ver 0.1: P...... - "M...... I think you are just soooo wonderful, can I have your babies?" M...... - "Oh P......, I thought you'd never ask :x " Now wouldn't that cheer a few people up, eh! Murray P PS. I've used my initials in the examples. |

| 292381 | 2004-11-16 14:35:00 | People, I dont know how the Moderators will Edit, but I would like to think that there would just be spaces and a notation edited buy, on. The completly dissapearing post or thread is not a good thing, freedom of speech Ect. D. |

| 292382 | 2004-11-16 18:15:00 | I for one hope O.T. threads will not be banned. There is nothing wrong with a bit of good humour. Now that everyone knows the bad stuff will be monitored by two Moderators who are known respected members of the Forum then I hope that the guilty ones will be inclined to moderate themselves a little as well. | 292384 | 2004-11-16 21:01:00 | I have no issue with OT threads,There is a lot of experience in these forums....The knife sharpening one springs to mind....Good read, and the next time the subject comes up in casual conversation i can pretend im an expert on the matter........ What i do object to is threads that are created to do nothing but whinge either at certain people, about the state of the forum, the mods, other posters. The activity where some particuler posters decide they have the right to jump in a thread and slap someone else on the wrist is also an issue. These people really need to have it pointed out to them that they are not mods, and if rules are broken then it is still no business of theirs.... People need to stop whinging,Ever worked somewhere where one person would complin all the time?,make everything seem worse then it was, morale would be low, productivity slows.......Give the boot to the whinger and all of a sudden when people stop hearing how bad it is they realise that its actually pretty good.... |

| 292385 | 2004-11-16 21:19:00 | Yeah, I agree that posts like "For Greg S and his ilk", and "Who is the secret identity of Moderator" (Yes I know I started that one:8}) should not be allowed. And obviously pointless treads like "This place is dead" can be annoying but shouldn't (usually) be banned. My 5c George |
