292449 2004-11-16 04:44:00 Well I am free from the horrors of that shithouse.

That exam was so gay.

292450 2004-11-16 04:45:00 >That exam was so gay.

I'd like to second that motion.

292451 2004-11-16 04:57:00 One must assume you mean "gay" as in "happy", for it would be impossible for an inanimate examination paper to be gay otherwise :p

Anyhow, who got the pun about "high rotate"? That was so funny, man! High rotate! :^O (Please excuse my extreme exaggeration).

?:| I just hope I got it right.

292452 2004-11-16 05:15:00 I'm sorry - was that pun in context?

Or does it have something to do with being gay? (Happy, ofcourse)
Growly (6)
292453 2004-11-16 05:18:00 Of course it was in context, it was one of the answers to English 2.6 (90380) - the very first question, in fact.

I'll admit I struggled on that and the next question for a good five minutes before seeing the pun.

292454 2004-11-16 06:27:00 I saw the pun straight away .

The double-meaning . . .

was that . . .

1) That cds spin in order to produce music

2) she was playing it loud, whilst it was rotating (something along those lines anyway)

Those questions in the essay booklets sucked . BIG TIME .

Oh well, I might have passed 2 booklets . . . maybe just one . . . I dunno
MrBeef (342)
292455 2004-11-16 06:48:00 I'd be more inclined to say that the double meaning was about (a) how CDs spin at a high speed, and (b) how she'd rotated between the two CDs so often on her four hour drive (as in stock rotation, switching between them when they finished playing).

"Nasty collisions" should also be a valid pun, since she was driving.

292456 2004-11-16 06:55:00 i thought that the questions were really stuffed up, they were like 2 questions in one and had a ton more writing, ive got science and accounting tomorow, the science exam i have 3 hours to do that 1 physics paper, which is good because its another opportunity to get 4 credits :D
good luck

292457 2004-11-16 23:18:00 Well, Physics tommorow .
How is everyone feeling about this exam? Quite frankly, for me, with a bit of study learning formulae and the whys and why nots I think it will be a piece of cake .

I find that downloading the previous years exam papers is excellent, because you get a feel of what kind of questions they are asking .
