| 291719 | 2004-11-14 07:51:00 | Hi all, Just recently I have noticed that whilst right clicking on a file/folder in Windows Explorer, it seems to take an age before the menu comes up. The worst seems to happen when right clicking on .zip files, it just hangs, when I use Task Manager to close explorer, the start menu button and taskbar dissapear for about 10secs then re-appear and I go to try again omly for it to hang again. This is an intermittent problem that seems to get worst the longer the PC is on although sometimes it starts straight after a reboot or the PC is turned on for the first time. I have a Toshiba A30 laptop with XP-Home preloaded (update to serv. pack 2). Anyone have any ideas? cheers |
