292717 2004-11-16 03:12:00 Could some knowledgable person tell me how I adjust my FSB on this board?
There is no mention of FSB in bios.
It is supposed to be running at 800 Hz. and I want to see if it is.
Thanks

292718 2004-11-16 03:18:00 I would d/l the manual from Gigabyte's site

That will tell you whether you can or not

292719 2004-11-16 03:34:00 If you mearly want to see what your FSB is running at just use a program like Sisoft Sandra or Aida. Gigabyte think there all tricky and hide the decent BIOS options, theres two buttons you press at the same time to unlock the advanced options. I think its CTRL + F1 but im not 100% sure about that.

Alot of the BIOS options that Gigabyte hide are capable of damaging your CPU and motherboard, unless you actually know what your doing its reckonmended you leave them alone.

292720 2004-11-16 03:45:00 I have the M/B manual in front of me.
Under "memory frequency" it says "The values depend on CPU host"
Then it gives you frequency for 400 , 533 , and 800 mz.. In all cases the reccomended setting is "Default"
I just want to find out if It is set for 800.
In Everest it says Real Value 804 Mhz. and effective value 400 Mhz.
Does that sound right?

Yes. You can double check in the BIOS just for the sake of it by doing Pete's recommendation of Ctrl + F1 in the main BIOS screen to make all the expert options available to you.
